Bee Organized began with a simple but powerful realization: organization is not about bins and labels. It’s about transformation.

Co-founders Kristen Christian and Lisa Foley built the original business after seeing firsthand how clutter, transitions, and life overwhelm were affecting families, careers, and emotional wellbeing. What started as a passion for helping people quickly evolved into a professional service model rooted in compassion, trust, and judgment-free support.

As demand grew, they recognized something bigger was possible. The work was changing lives and they wanted to create an opportunity for others to do the same in their own communities.

Franchising, however, brought its own learning curve.

In the early years, Bee Organized grew through founder energy, mission, and excitement. But Kristen quickly realized that passion alone was not enough to support franchisee success. The brand needed stronger systems, clearer expectations, and a more intentional approach to growth.

That realization led to one of the most defining decisions in the company’s history: pausing expansion to strengthen the foundation.

Kristen and her team stepped back from franchise sales to refine training, improve processes, and build the operational infrastructure required for long-term scalability. It was a decision rooted in leadership maturity, prioritizing franchisee success over short-term growth metrics.

That discipline became part of Bee Organized’s DNA.

Over time, Kristen embraced the realities of franchisor leadership: navigating doubt, building systems without deep capital, supporting franchisees through challenges, and continuously evolving the model. Her candid approach to the founder journey, including moments of uncertainty and resilience, has shaped a culture grounded in authenticity, grit, and shared success.

Today, Bee Organized has grown into a thriving franchise system with dozens of markets across the country, supported by a leadership team committed to thoughtful, values-aligned expansion.
